| The Day|
I spent the day prepping for a photoshoot, more to come about that soon. Although, there was still snow on the ground the day was fairly nice for a mid January day for New England. I spent it running errands, tracking down important packages at UPS, to the stores to find those perfect pieces still missing from my wardrobe and spending way to much time shopping for “essentials” in Target. I swear Target is like a blackhole sucking up soo much of my time and money especially when I just make a random trip. I always have to go in there with a game plan, if I want to survive that place. Ahhh, it’s such a love/hate relationship ! Let me know how you feel about Target in the comments. After, finally emerging from Target I stopped for an early dinner and then headed home to get ready for the Fashion Up! event hosted by Blade Boston and Nineteenth Amendment ( more on that to come).
| The Outfit|
I LOVE an all pink look. Whew! Just had to get that out but on to the outfit. I love a pastel pink, it’s my favorite shade to wear. This outfit is so light, fun and totally comfy even down to the shoes making it perfect for a day when you’r super busy but also want to look super chic. You can easily swap out the heels for a nude loafer or flat for extra comfort and mobility. However, for me nine times out of ten I’ll always choose to do things in my heels. The pattern of this cardigan is the perfect way to add interest to spice up a monochromatic look. Add in an accessory in a brighter shade, such as my clutch for some added dimension to the look. I love the idea of doing a nude shoe because it complements the pink so well and keeps the outfit balanced. I hope you all enjoy and scroll down to shop the look !
